A Nip Here And There and Whoa You Get A Beautiful Bow

So you already know what a bow is right.  Still, to clarify the doubts, the dictionary says that bow is, “a knot tied with two loops and two loose ends, used especially for tying shoelaces and decorative ribbons.” But do you know there are hundreds of ways to make those gorgeous bows that too by yourself with the help of ribbons? So I think you have already gathered that today we are going to talk about the bows and ribbon. Next time if you forget to buy one to wrap the gifts you can make it all by yourself.

So the basic way to make a bow is as follows:

Things you need: four strips of ribbon with the sizes 18inches, 18inches, 15 inches and 4inches, hot glue or needle and thread.

Step 1: Make two circles from the ribbon of size 18inches and 15 inches each. To make the circle either stick their ends or use the glue.

Step 2: Keep the circles together in the format where the 15 inches one above the 18 inches one and stick them in the middle with the help of little glue.

Step 3: Now fold these circles a little bit from the center to create those beautiful dimples in it. When you fold, glue the folded part together at each fold.

Step 4: now take the shortest piece of ribbon and wrap it in the middle of the bow while wrapping place the remaining piece of ribbon of 18inches length in such a way that it is equal in length on both sides then stick the wrap at the back of the bow with a glue.

Step 5: Cut a triangle from both the tail ends of the ribbon to give it a look.

Tada your bow is ready in what just 10 minutes. Bows and ribbon go hand in hand in more ways, which I will tell in the next blog.
