Dressing and displaying adds an edge and make customer stick around (Part I)

It’s true that a good product with a decent presentation can sell more than an amazing product with a bad presentation. Your way of presenting the product at your retail store directly affects the future of the products available there. Therefore the retailer should choose the retail supplies to present the products in a most attracting way. Your retail space is your playground where you have to design a pitch to get a win every time someone walks up to it. To have an extra edge in your consistent sales you have to provide good products at appropriate prices with excellent presentation. As soon as the customer enters your retail shop they should feel it organized, comfortable and easy to shop. Perfectly chosen retail shop supplies can have that effect.
An example would be using good quality hangers for dressing your apparels. This practice can distinguish you from your competitors and also can add value to your products which helps you in boosting your sales. If you have a high end product on a cheap looking hanger, it can turn off the customer from buying the product. Dressing and displaying is an advantage which every retail store should take. Retail supplies add that advantage to your retail space. It will discourage the idea of window shopping among customers and will encourage them to buy something.
Following are a few ideas or suggestions in terms of your retail shop supplies which can keep your customer around your store and shopping. Before starting the ideas just think; if you go to a store to buy some product and the display is complicated with no proper steps for guiding you through the shopping process. You will just move out of the place and will go somewhere else to buy things. You have to create an environment where the customer can connect and can purchase the products easily.

1) Make them Explore

A customer may enter a store, open their list and start buying the things written on it and leave. You can make this experience more interesting, with no pain but with surprises. Display those products which are not common but are quite useful for people in the front part of your store. It will catch their eye and will force them to explore the product and its relatives. The sale is not necessary but you have created a thought and they will remember it because the way you presented it. Whenever in near future they require the product, your store will be the first place in their mind. But keep in mind the displayed product should be unique and useful. Display the product through Mannequins or Display Tables or an acrylic display shelf.
