Have You Thought About Security Loops

How regular you go for shopping or should I ask how observant you are? Well both the questions are something which you cannot answer with complete honesty. No worries keep the answer in mind and let me explain why I asked the question at the first place. Well, if you go to shopping, by shopping here I mean shopping for any type of thing such as clothes, equipment, groceries, etc. then you must have noticed or observed that each and every product has a locking wire in them which is generally called as security loops.
For clothing, these loops are used to tag the price band and other tags together with the garment. In supermarkets, the open groceries are locked with a plastic wire. In malls, if you enter a new store with carrying bags then the zip of these bags are locked together with the same loops. We never notice these things but this little product has a very vast market presence that too around us only. Yesterday while entering the mall I had a laptop bag with me and the authorised personnel are not allowed to keep it with them so they locked the zips and allowed me to roam for hours. And really when I tried to open it, the lock didn’t even move, I had to cut it with scissors only.
These security loops have created a secured zone for the shop owners from the shop lifters. These loops are available in various kinds and are used by the retailers on the basis of their needs. Such as the elastic loops which easily allow to lock two items together be it clothing or the pair of shoes, next is the bobbled loops, these loops have bubbles kind of texture at one side which do not allow the lock to open at any condition, another one is the thread one which is commonly used by higher brands like levis, etc.
