Since jewelry is comparatively smaller than many retail items, one of the challenges that is being faced is the Jewelry Display in the window of the store. A jewelry window display must draw the attention of the customers that compels them to come inside to examine the possibilities. It should be changed weekly or within 4-5 days to keep the interest. Design Essentials

The person who is designing the Jewelry Display should have a firm knowledge of the elementary rules of visual display. The use of color, height variation, and asymmetrical groupings need to be kept in mind. It’s a nice idea to put a piece of painter’s tape around the sight line of the onlooker so that the display builder has a guide for the arrangement. The store’s logo and décor should be somehow showcased in the window display so that the viewer connects the display to the establishment. This is as simple as shaping the logo as a background and emphasizing with its colors in the display. The color is an imperative feature of all retailing and should be selected carefully.

Larger items kept in window displays catch the glimpses. Interesting props, color, and shapes all are good ideas that will make the viewer come closer to see. Large pictures of the jewelry can work amazingly well here. The jewelry must be showcased in the way that it highlights the detail, with a contrasting background and good lighting.
